If you send it a LOW signal it reverses the motor direction. There is an input pin on each side & if you send it a HIGH signal it turns one way.

Now for the most complicated step of the process, you need to attach four wires to four pins on the motor driver. There are lots of videos on how to use the chipquick and I found it easy to work with. To do this I ordered a product called, "Chipquick", which is a low temperature solder for removing SMD (Surface Mount) components. In order to control the motor driver I would need to remove the processor on the other side which is surface mounted to the board. I was able to find a PDF file for the motor controller which is a ST1155A (low voltage, bi-directional motor driver), using this I was able to write a small program for the Arduino.

Easy to maneuver and shoot laser from remote even for me who sometimes has trouble with toy remotes. Hex bugs walk like real spiders! Had fun battling each other with 6Year old son. I bought these for my grandson and he thinks they are the coolest think ever.
It is a Christmas gift for my 10 year old grandson. I was impressed the came with an extra set of batteries, but the batteries that were in one bot were dead on arrival. My kids were very impressed with these bots.
